[He can't exactly say he understand cause this kind of thing didn't happen really, but even what his imagination came up with hurt, so that much he could get.]
I know it's not the same since he hasn't gone through things with us like the other McCoy, but at least he is here in some form, right? He can't be that different.
I imagine his basic personality is still the same, but he never had the time at Site B with us and he remembers an additional four years on top of it. He remembers me from during the Haze outbreak even, apparently. Something about posters.
[He rubs his face. It irks him that he may be missing chunks of memory, that he may do to others what McCoy had done to him, all inadvertent but no less frustrating for all involved.]
I talked with Leonard quite a lot and he shared things with me about his former life. I'm not sure if I should attempt to forget about all that or not.
[Jet's not entirely sure what to say to that, he doesn't know the right answer or even the 'better' answer.]
I don't know. But...I'd be willing to bet you'll find it pretty hard to quit caring or keep up much of a distance, not since you were pretty close before, that's not how you work.
[He shrugs a bit, wishing he had some better answer to offer, something that would make this easier.]
Assuming he does come with us, which I think he will, you'll just have to see what comes out of getting to know this version.
Yeah...I guess there's always the option of being upfront with it. You know, tell him you know this stuff cause the other McCoy told you? I mean, it might make him uncomfortable, but at least he'd get it.
Or he'd want nothing to do with me. If someone came up to me out of the blue and explained they knew about Hilda or Black Ghost and said I'd told them, at the very least I'd be skeptical, if not hostile.
[Sighing, Albert drops one hand and leans forward, ruffling the other through his hair.]
But I don't feel it's right to have him not know I know this. It feels like a betrayal somehow.

[He folds his hands, pressing his lips to folded thumbs in thought.]
But I don't want to make him uncomfortable with my knowledge of personal details.

[Why'd this stuff have to get so complicated?]

[He reached for Albert's hand on the table.]
I know you'll figure it out.

[fingers curl around Jet's palm and Albert gives a weak smile.]
Thank you.

A quiet sign that the blond was there for him, Albert had his support no matter the outcome.]
